Yam Tolan

Moontower Bakery, which offers organic breads and other items made with fresh-milled grains, was started in 2020 by Yam Tolan, a baker with a unique background in food, education and photography. Yam has been an avid foodie for his entire life, running a catering company in high school, working in various sectors of the food industry while he pursued undergraduate and graduate degrees in photography. He recently retired as a Professor of Art at Austin Community College and his photographic work has been shown and collected widely.
